Baska Beaches
The
island of Krk is the biggest Croatian island, situated in
Kvarner Bay in northern Adriatic, and Baska is one of its
many popular tourist resort.
Baska known for it's Vela plaza (Great Beach), a natural
pebble beach, 1800 m long, surrounded by bars, restaurants,
pizzerias, cafes, hotels, private flats and other things.
Vela Plaza can take several thousand swimmers with ease.
But there are many other beaches in Baska's vicinitysuitable
for those romantic couples in love seeking some peaceful
time on the beach. Baska abounds in beaches, some thirty
pebbled beaches accessible to swimmers of all ages, while
some of them have to be reached on foot or by boat.
A pleasant walk from Baska center, through nudist camping
Banculuka, will take you to many pebbly coves ideal for
those who wants to escape crowds of Vela plaza. Maybe it
is not necesarry to mention, but we'll do it anyway, all
those beaches are clothing optional.
