Stoja
Pula
is the biggest town in Istria, situated at the southeast
end of the Istrian peninsula. It has been in existence since
3 thousand years and today represents a very fine combination
of the old and modern city with many cultural and historical
monuments, with well preserved huge Roman Arena being the
most known. Tourist facilities are located outside the town
in woods close to the sea. This place is called Stoja.
Stoja
is located 3,5 km west of the city center and there is a
regular bus service. The whole area is filled with hotels,
campgrounds, catering and sport facilities, beaches and
a long magnificent promenade that stretches all the way
from camping Stoja or Valkane beach to Valsaline. Stoja
is the summertime esplanade of the city of Pula.
