  Vrboska,
a small town and harbour on the northern coast of the island
of Hvar, lies in a picturesque, deep cove surrounded by
vineyards, olive groves and a forest of pine. Various accommodation
facilities - hotels, apartments, campsites, fine restaurants
and bars, as well as sports and recreation opportunities
attract many visitors to Vrboska. Cultural events and entertainment
are organized during the tourist season. Vrboska ACI Marina
has 100 berths in the sea and 20 places on the land.
Vrboska is a place with a long tradition in naturism in
hidden nearby coves.
 Most
of that beaches are located on peninsula Glavica,
1-1.5 km from town Vrboska, 5 minutes far away with car.
You can leave your car on popular textile beach "Soline"
parking place (with lot of pine trees shade). 5-10 minutes
walk from parking place on another side of peninsula (northern
side) you can find pretty rocks ideal for naturism.
 Big,
flat and very smooth surfaces where you can lay on the sun
without any towel or beach chair. The best fact is that
most of the rocks are isolated so you can find place with
lot of privacy. This is a main reason why mostly all people
there are nudist, but this is not a rule. There is also
lot of people in "regular" bathing suits.
Entrance in the very clean see is very good and on the lot
of places there is possibility just to jump in the water
from the coast or shallow water. Because smooth rocks and
only few see urchins beach shoes are not necessary.
Disadvantage of this part of peninsula is because there
is not lot of shade, so it is recommended to carry sunshade
with you or to move to southern side of Glavice (Soline
beach) during mid day sun. Also, in the afternoons,
on this side of peninsula often blows heavy wind so lot
of wind surfers from Bol, Brac, which northern part of peninsula
look at, sailing all way to Hvar.
 Another
popular naturist beach is located on nearby island of Zecevo,
which is a popular naturism destination since the '60s of
the 20th century. Naturist beach on Zecevo island is open
in high season and is a 15 minutes taxi boat ride from the
town of Jelsa on the island of Hvar. There are nice pebble
beaches and pine woods to provide shade.
 And
then there is Camping Nudist (tel. +385 21 774034,

1 km away from the center of Vrboska which can host up to
420 guests. It is a small camping with a very cozy atmosphere.The
Camp has its own nudist beach, a small restaurant, grocery
shop frigo boxes, gas service, tent and caravan accessories,
modern toiletries and sport facilities in the vicinity.
