  Umag,
town and a port in the northwest coast of Istria, is a kind
of exit and entrance of Croatia to Europe. Development of
Umag is best evidenced by the world famous ATP tour, a tennis
tournament taking place right here every year. Umag is one
of the most developed tourist resorts in Croatia with numerous
hotels, apartment villages, camping grounds, many facilities
and attractions and especially known as a good destination
for those seeking active holiday, not just baking on the
beach.
 These
two beaches are located in the city of Umag, surrounded
by pineforest and extensive green area, as well as recreational
facilities. Both beaches, located next to each other, are
a combination of pebbles, rocks and sand and offer a lot
of facilities including various catering facilities, playground
for children, sport facilities, renting facilities, pools.
Beaches have lifeguards, lifesaving equipment and first
aid. The beach is separated by the green area from the road,
it can be accessed by walkways suitable for disabled people,
sea access is secured by handholds. In the immediate vicinity
there are several hotels, apartment villages and campings.

Polynesia beach has a special section for those seeking
an all over tan, that is there is a naturist part of the
beach.
