Lone Bay
Rovinj
is an ancient settlement (3rd century) and important tourist
center on the Western coast of Istrian region. The town
is squeezed on a narrow peninsula, and when you walk through
its steep meandering lanes, cobbled squares and campiellis,
you enter the centuries past by. The Rovinj coastal area
is very well articulated with numerous bays, creeks, and
capes.
Lone Bay is the most popular town's beach. In last few years
a lot of work has been done including pedestrian paths,
surrounding greenery cultivation, pebbling the beach etc.
The beach is located near many hotels (Park, Eden, Montauro),
yacht marina and it is in walking distance form town center.
After the adaptation, the beaches in Lone Bay became ideal
for children and seniors who will easily enjoy swimming,
playing and sunbathing. Near there are many sport and tourist
facilities, boats and surf boards rentals, snack bars etc.
Monvi amusement center, which during the night becomes a
popular place to go out with several bars, clubs and restaurants,
is also close by.
